Outerline 1.2.12
Summary
Smoother writing on iPhone and more reliable remembered cursor and reading positions on Mac and iPhone.
macOS
Improvements
- Notes keep their saved cursor and reading position when renamed, moved, or recovered from Recently Deleted.
Fixes
- Improved position saving when switching between editor windows or saving from an inactive window.
- Notes opened through a symlinked or aliased library folder now share their saved position with the same note opened from the library.
- Permanently deleting a note now also clears its saved cursor and reading position.
iOS
Fixes
- Fixed a brief editor flash and keyboard dismissal when a new note received its filename during autosave. Renaming or moving the open note now also keeps your editing session in place, preserving the cursor, scroll position, and undo history.
- Reopening a note keeps collapsed sections folded. A saved selection inside a collapsed section now reopens as a visible cursor.
- Notes keep their saved position after being merged with a copy from another device during sync.
- Positions keep saving after starting a swipe back and cancelling it, and stop saving while a note is shown in a preview.
- Saving your place while scrolling now does less work in the background.
- Permanently deleting a note now also clears its saved cursor and reading position.
