Summary

Build 1100 standardizes Outerline's wikilink format around [[Document Name]] while preserving compatibility with existing [@Document Name] links. It also bundles the Claude Connector inside the app and reorganizes Help menu entries so advanced setup and support actions are easier to find.

Wikilink Standardization

  • Newly inserted wikilinks now use the standard [[Document Name]] format.
  • Typing @ or [[ still opens the wikilink palette, but choosing a document inserts the standard double-bracket format.
  • Existing [@Document Name] links remain supported: legacy links are still detected, highlighted, navigable, and included in backlink and outgoing-link extraction.
  • Outerline no longer rewrites wikilinks during load, import, save, or markdown export, so author text is preserved exactly.
  • App and MCP wikilink extraction now share the same parser behavior, including mixed [[...]] and [@...] documents.

Claude Connector

  • The Claude Connector package, outerline.mcpb, is now bundled inside Outerline.
  • Install it in one click from Help > Advanced > Install Claude Connector.
  • The bundled connector is included in the App Store build.

Help Menu

  • Moved MCP Guide into the new Advanced submenu alongside Install Claude Connector.
  • Grouped Release Notes and Acknowledgements together.
  • Grouped Report a Bug and Diagnostic Snapshot together.
  • Removed Feature Requests and the standalone Claude Plugin link from the Help menu.
